We have 2 links that you can create with variables that allow you to link to Sync 365 from your PSA.
1. Link to the company in Sync 365
2. Trigger a contact sync for the company in Sync 365
Get your User ID:
For this you will need to know your UserID with Sync365. You can find this by logging in and going to Tools > Settings.
Your UserID will be displayed in the top right of this page.
Create an API key: Required for triggering contact sync
In Tools and Logs > Settings you will have a "Generate API Key" button.
Click on this to create a new API Key (you can have a max of 10).
Copy this Key as it will be used later and you will not be able to retrieve it again.
Connectwise
You will need admin permissions in Connectwise to set this up.
- Open System > Setup tables
- Open the table named "Links"
- Add a new link
- Open company in Sync 365
- Name the link what you would like, for example: "Open in S365"
- Set the Table reference to "Company"
- Set the link definition to the following and put your user id where it says <yourUserID>:
https://sync.s365l.com/user/openCompany?user_id=<yourUserID>&id=[companyrecordid] - Save
- Open company in Sync 365
- Add a new link again
- Trigger a contact sync
- Name the link what you would like, for example: "Sync Contacts from Microsoft"
- Set the Table reference to "Company"
- Set the link definition to the following and put your user id where it says <yourUserID>: and put your API Key where it says <APIKey>

- Trigger a contact sync
Now when you open a company in Connectwise, you will have these option in the Links menu
Autotask
These links are called LiveLinks in Autotask.
You will need admin permission to set these up.
- Open the Autoforms Designer page by going to > Admin > Automation > AutoForms & LiveLinks > LiveLinks Designer > Applications tab > New
